What to expect:

This is an advanced-intermediate immersion.  It will feel most accessible to those who have a straight arm inversion, meathook, basic beat proficiency and some basic fast roll technique. If you aren't sure if this will suit you, just write me a message before signing up!  The schedule will be a good challenge for the body, so even if the prerequisites aren't perfect, having some stamina and the ability to self monitor effort is more important.  

 

Bellingham, WA is an outdoor enthusiast's dream.  The Cirque Lab is within walking distance of the community boating center where you could rent a kayak and immediately be on the bay!  It's also nestled in the Chuckanut mountains for great hiking in with a 15 minute drive.  Mount Baker looms to the east for grander adventures, and if you mountain bike, bring your rig because Galbraith is 10 minutes away.  There are plenty of Air BnBs and some boutique hotels nearby, and if you want to rough it a bit, you could camp at Larabee State park for some stellar mornings on the bay sipping coffee and staring at the San Juan islands.  There are sooo many breweries and fun places to eat, and I will happily offer recommendations and facilitate some group outings if folks want.  I'm very excited to share my home town with you in addition to our super lovely training space.
